UGC Giveaway Terms

1. Promoter

The promoter is Beard Octane Australia (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

3. Entry Period

  • The competition begins on 2pm AEST on 21st October 2025 and ends on 30th November 2025 at 11:59pm AEST (“Promotional Period”).
  • Entries received after the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must, during the Promotional Period:

  1. Post a photo featuring their beard or Beard Octane products on Instagram.
  2. Tag @beardoctaneau and include the hashtag #BeardOctaneAU in the caption.
  3. Ensure their profile/post is set to public so the entry can be viewed.

5. Prize

  • The prize consists of:
    • 1 x Beard Advent Calendar Gift Box (RRP $179)
  • Total prize value: AUD $179.
  • Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  • Prize is subject to stock availability. If unavailable, a product of equal or greater value will be provided.

6. Selection of Winner

  • One (1) winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period.
  • The draw will take place on 1st December 2025.
  • The winner will be announced on Instagram in the caption of the original giveaway post on 1st December 2025, and contacted via Instagram Direct Message from the official @beardoctaneau account only.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a new winner will be drawn.

7. Delivery of Prize

  • Prize will be shipped free of charge to the winner’s nominated address within Australia or New Zealand.
  • The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, or delayed prizes once dispatched.

8. General Conditions

  • This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.
  • By entering, participants agree to release Instagram from any responsibility related to this competition.
  • Entrants acknowledge that all content they post in connection with the competition is their own and does not infringe the rights of third parties.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may prevent an entry from being received.

Any personal information provided will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition and in accordance with the Beard Octane AU Privacy Policy.
